We write guides that walk through the actual process, step by step, based on real experience and cross-checked against official sources — Korean government agencies, licensed institutions, and the actual text of the regulations where possible. When something has changed recently, or when even we’re not sure, we say so instead of guessing.
This site is mainly for expats, long-term residents, and international students who are dealing with cars in Korea for the first time — buying, renting, insuring, registering, or just trying to keep an old one running. We look things up ourselves before spending real money on a car decision, and that’s the same bar we hold this site to.
